Boeing will need over 2 million qualified workers in the aviation sector.

We want to thank Tourinews for conducting this interview, which informs us about the current situation of the aeronautical sector representing the current demand. Our manager, Mario Pons, states that there is a global shortage of qualified personnel in the aviation sector, including pilots, mechanics, and cabin crew. According to Boeing's forecasts, over the next 20 years, more than 2 million of these professionals will be needed, of which 600,000 will be pilots. The demand will be divided among various continents and countries, with China needing the most qualified professionals, with a demand for 400,000 people. Pons also mentions that crises have a strong impact on the aviation sector, being one of the most affected. However, recovery is quick, so it is important to prepare and train independently of the current market situation. Regarding Spain, Mario Pons points out that there is also a shortage of pilots, and airlines have to anticipate the purchase of aircraft and the hiring of qualified personnel due to the long training and adaptation times to airline operations.
