At the beginning of 2022, Canavia obtained its approval certificate for the EASA ES.CAO.026 Maintenance Organisation.
After 13 years of training and a great deal of effort, we achieved what every self-respecting school should have: its own maintenance. This service has reinforced our structure as a training centre, giving all the guarantees of availability, safety and quality of our fleet.

The Headquarters of our Maintenance Centre occupies two large hangars located at the Maspalomas - El Berriel Aerodrome (Gran Canaria).
Canavia was the first EASA approved piston aircraft maintenance organisation in the Canary Islands. In addition to maintaining its own fleet, it also provides maintenance for third party aircraft.
Since our school implemented its own maintenance centre at the end of 2019, we have made every effort to create a solid team, full of great professionals with many years of experience, among them: Engineers, Aeronautical Maintenance Technicians (TMA's), Certifying Staff and Technical Staff, who guarantee the perfect functioning of our centre.
TECNAM, the prestigious aircraft manufacturer, has recognised us as an Authorised Service Centre. This allows us to overhaul, repair and provide maintenance under warranty for all Tecnam models. Canavia has single-engine Tecnam P2008JC and twin-engine Tecnam P2006T. These models are the most modern part of our varied fleet of aircraft, and we are increasing their number every year.
OUR WORKSHOP OFFERS COMPLETE MECHANICAL AND AVIONICS MAINTENANCE
We handle the base and line maintenance of your aircraft, as well as immediate assistance service on the apron at our facilities at the Maspalomas - El Berriel Aerodrome (GCLB) and at the International Airports of Gran Canaria (GCLP) and Tenerife South (GCTS).
We are a benchmark for light aircraft maintenance in the Canary Islands, where an increasing number of pilots and owners trust us to manage the maintenance of their aircraft. We guarantee safety and value for money above all else.
