Jet Orientation Course - JOC

The purpose of our Jet Orientation Course (JOC) is to introduce the pilot to one of the most important aircraft models in the world: the Airbus A320.

For many airlines, the completion of the JOC course is a key asset in the selection process of their pilots.

Entry requirements

To be eligible for the JOC course, the student must hold a Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) with valid MEP and IR ratings.

Theoretical training

The theoretical part of the JOC course consists of 6 hours of training, in which the following concepts will be studied:

  • Aerodynamics, Jet Engines, High Altitude Flying
  • Fly-by-Wire Basics, Handling the Inertia, How to use the sidestick
  • Flap Logic, Thrust Lever Gates
  • PFD and ND, APPR and ILS, Raw Data Basics
  • Speed Control in various flight modes, Steep Turns, Protections, Preparation Advices

Flight training.

After the theoretical lessons, students will undergo 8 hours of practical training on our A320 FNPT-II.
