Become a pilot.

Below you will find details of the enrolment process for training as a professional pilot at CANAVIA.

Please read it carefully and follow the steps as indicated.

We recommend that you contact us before you start the first step so that we can advise you and help you decide which training is best for you, as well as support and guide you through the enrolment process.

STEP 1 - Deposit fee and application form

Payment of €250 as an initial deposit to carry out the entry tests.
Fill in the online registration form.

If you pass the selection process and are admitted, this amount will be deducted from the total amount of the course.

If you do not pass the selection process (Mathematics and Physics exams or the English interview), CANAVIA will refund €100, but will not be able to offer you any training.

STEP 2 – English, Maths, Physics and Cognitive Assessments

Once we have received the deposit payment and the form, we will contact you to let you know the days available for the exams, which last 1 hour and 30 minutes.

We will also assess your level of English through an informal conversation.

STEP 3 – Aeronautical Medical Certificate

Obtaining the Class 1 Aeronautical Medical Certificate is a prerequisite for access to training, in order to ensure that the applicant is within the parameters of normality required by the aviation authority and to ensure that he/she will be able to obtain the licence at the end of the training.

You can take the medical examination at any accredited aeronautical medical centre (AMC).

The medical examinations will assess your general physical and mental condition.

STEP 4 – Payment of pre-enrolment fee and training contract

Once you have passed the entry tests and obtained your medical certificate, you must pay €2,500 to reserve your place on the course of your choice. This amount will be part of the total amount for the training.
